Property Owner's & Manager's Responsibilities

You cannot instruct your agent to convey on your behalf any limitations in the rental because your agent is bound by law not to discriminate. Agents in a rental transaction are prohibited by law from discriminating on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin. They are prohibited from complying with a request from the property owner or manager to act in a discriminatory manner in the lease or rental. Moreover, a property owner or manager cannot establish discriminatory terms or conditions in the purchase or rental, deny that housing is available, or advertise that the property is available only to persons of a certain race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national original.
Renter's Rights
As someone seeking to rent an apartment, home or condo, you have the right to expect that housing will be available to you without discrimination or other limitations based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin. This includes the right to expect equal professional service, the opportunity to consider a broad range of housing choices, no discriminatory limitations on communities or locations of housing, no discrimination in the pricing or financing of housing, reasonable accommodations in rules, practices and procedures for persons with disabilities, and to be free from harassment or intimidation for exercising your fair housing rights.

The rental advertisements and related services posted on Rent Kong are procured and provided by Kongco Ventures LLC and/or its subsidiaries and affiliates. In some cases, Kongco Ventures LLC provides certain technical, marketing support, and customer support services to the subsidiaries and affiliates.
Rent Kong is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kongco Ventures LLC. All references to "Rent Kong", "we", "us" or "our" include Kongco Ventures LLC, its subsidiaries and affiliates.

Our Website requires you to give us contact and personal information, including your email address and phone number. We may use your email address and phone number and other information you prove to verify your identity, and send you messages from in house and third party companies interested in contacting you. By requesting assistance and submitting your information, you are expressly consenting to our using and possibly selling that information to third-party relocation companies and authorizing such companies to contact you regarding their services. To remove your contact information from all Rent Kong lists and newsletters use the opt-out function.
8. Account Protection
Your password is the key to your account. Use unique numbers, letters, and special characters and do not disclose your Rent Kong password to anyone. If you do share your password or your personal information with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf.
